African Trade Bead Lot: 3 Mali Wedding Trade Beads—15mm x 24mm Owyhee Blue Opal & Matrix Twilight Mountain by Andrew ThorntonAfrican Trade Bead Lot. Bead Size: Approximately 15mm x 24mm Lot of 3 Beads. You will receive the lot shown. Please Note: African trade beads are sometimes hundreds of years old, so there may be a little bit of character to the beads. These are not considered defects. The reason that they are called Mali Wedding Beads is that they were introduced from Bohemia (now the Czech Republic) and were used by Fulani brides for over a century.
